Operation Christmas Child | Back

Dear Pupils, Parents and Carers,

We have decided to support ‘Operation Christmas Child’ again this Christmas and you will have received a leaflet explaining how you can prepare a shoebox of gifts to be sent DIRECTLY to a child whose life has been tragically blighted by war or natural disaster.

We will be accepting shoeboxes at school from MONDAY 23rd NOVEMBER.

This year, the Charity involved will collect our shoeboxes on FRIDAY 27th NOVEMBER.

Bring your box to the library at 8.35 am (when the gates open) any day that week.

Please help us to match the generosity shown last year, this is a wonderful way to send ‘love in a box’ and cut through all the usual ‘red-tape’.

Please encourage your children to help with preparing the box itself. Perhaps you might persuade them to part with a little of their own pocket money to contribute to the cost of the items you buy. Also, you might like to consider sharing and exchanging multi-packs of pencils etc (from the ‘Pound Shop’, perhaps) with other children who are making up a shoebox.

Thank you, SO MUCH, on behalf of all those poor little souls, worldwide, who cannot speak out for themselves.
